How to order a pet portrait

Step 1.
Please choose your desired portrait size from my price list. Your choice may depend on the number of pets in your portrait and your budget. I offer coloured pencil and graphite pencil portraits.

Step 2.
The better the photo, the better the portrait will be. Sending high quality, clear photos enables me to make the best possible portrait. This is a very important part of the commission process. I am unable to work from blurry photos. Understandably, if your pet has passed away, please send over as many photos as you have and we will be able to work from there. If you would like some help on taking the perfect photo, visit my Photo Tips.
Once you have your photos and desired size, please email me with your requirements and attach your photos to meg.humphries@hotmail.com.

Step 3.
Once I have seen your photographs and you are happy with the process, I will require a deposit of 25% which is non refundable once I start your portrait. Once a deposit has been paid, I will give you an idea of how long it will take to complete.
Payment can be taken via PayPal or Bank Transfer. The remaining payment will be due upon completion of your drawing. We can always arrange payment plans, so please get in touch if you’d prefer this option. Your drawing will then be sent via First class Royal Mail/International Tracked & Signed. Depending on the size of the drawi
ng, postage will be an extra £6 - £15 within the UK. For orders outside of the UK, I will be able to give you a personal quote for the shipping costs.
